This vintage brooch was handmade in South Africa by weaving copper telephone wire into the design and weaving glass beads throughout. It has a hinged pin attached for ease of use.

The beaded items you see on this site were made prior to the advent of westerners changing designs more for speed and quantity. I would love to say more, but I don't have the time now.
